PLAGIARISM

Based on the Cambridge Dictionary, Plagiarism is the process or practice of using another person's ideas or work and pretending that it is your own. For simply, it is the way of someone to steal any kind of works. Not only paper works that could be stolen but also any kind of things such as : Music, Design, and others. It's such a annoying thing if our works such as our paper works or article that we made is being a victim of theft called "Plagiarism".

As we know that we are currently living in the era of Globalization, Every Information has been easily to be accessed. so we can find anything on our search engine. but we are not only find it but we also could make it the information. we could make any articles on the internet. much more that we can. So we just need to find the references in some journals and books. but some people find another easily ways to make their projects being more finished faster. they only need to copy and paste other works to create their own paper. So, with the free access of the information caused the negative things such as Plagiarism. Plagiarism can be classified into the cyber criminal. you can be jailed or get the punishment in a serious way if you've been caught up to copy people's works. 

Soelistya (2011) classified there are five types of plagiarism :

1. Word from word for Plagiarism

the writer uses the same word by word without to write the source

2. Plagiarisme of Source

The writer uses other people's ideas without to write the source obviously

3. Plagiarism of Autorship

The writer acknowledge the writing of other people as owned himself

4. Self Plagiarism

The writer is publishing one article with more than one preference and remark that work into the new one

Because of Plagiarism is a crime which harmful many people. So there are some regulations which controlled the matter of Plagiarism. Such As

1. Pasal 40 ayat (1) huruf f Undang-Undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta (“UU Hak Cipta”).

2. Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Nomor 17 Tahun 2010 tentang Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan Plagiat di Perguruan Tinggi

3. Pasal 113 ayat (3) Pasal 9 ayat (1) huruf b UU Hak Cipta

4. Pasal 9 ayat (1) huruf b UU Hak Cipta

5. Pasal 4 UU Hak Cipta

6. Pasal 58 ayat (1) huruf f UU Hak Cipta

7. Pasal 58 ayat (2) dan (3) UU Hak Cipta

8. Pasal 1 angka 23 UU Hak Cipta

Many rules which created about plagiarism is a serious act from government to kick out of Plagiarism. so we can't think of plagiarism is a normal act . In conclusion we need to aware about plagiarism in our writings.
